Frequently asked questions
Do I have to switch systems?
No. The integration connects to what you already use: your online store, your ERP, your app or your own system. You keep working where you always do.
What if my system is custom-built?
That works too. If it has an API or a database, we connect there. If it has neither, we find another way, such as an automatic export or a small module inside the system itself.
Doesn't Mercado Pago already have a plugin for my store?
Yes, for platforms like Shopify or WooCommerce. If that's enough for you, we set it up and leave it ready. What we build is what the plugin doesn't include: subscriptions made for you, charges from your own system, refunds, reconciliation with your accounts or automatic receipts.
Does the money go through Codeform?
No. Every payment goes straight to your Mercado Pago account. We only connect your system to it.
What if I already take payments with Webpay?
You can offer both: the customer chooses how to pay and every payment confirms the order the same way.
How much does it cost?
A basic integration starts at CLP 490,000 + VAT, in a single payment: Mercado Pago payments with every payment confirming its order. If you need more, like subscriptions or reconciliation with your accounts, we send you a fixed price after the diagnostic.
Do I have to give you my account password?
No. The connection uses the integration credentials generated in your Mercado Pago account, not your password, and you can renew them whenever you like.
What happens if Mercado Pago changes something?
It happens often: API versions, payment methods and rules change. With a monthly maintenance plan we make those adjustments so your payments don't stop.
